DZR brass compression fittings

manufactured in accordance to BS EN 1254-2, are intended primarily for use in above-ground and below-ground water services and in central heating services where the media concern do not support dezincification. It provides the means of jointing sections pipework in a variety of sizes and materials, of making terminal connections, and of controlling the flow through the system.Joints are made mechanically by compressing a sealing ring onto the tube, without the application of heat. Although designed for use with copper tubes to BS EN 1057, they can also be employed with stainless steel tubes to BS EN 10312.

DZR brass compression fittings are manufactured from high quality DZR brass to BS EN 12165(CW602N) to remove effectively any possibility of dezincification,a corrosion process which can attack ordinary duplex brasses under certain service conditions, causing in extreme cases blockage or failure of the fittings. All DZR brass compression fittings carry the distinctive ' CR' mark which is recognised by the Water Authorities.
